The
John Street SewerMonochord was performed in 1973, and it's documentation was
included in Hunter Collage Master of Arts Thesis. Microphone was lowered in
to sewer through manhole cover. The Mayan source is a more recent finding. Mayans
built many wells to survive the dry seasons. Uganda monochord, Manhatton sewer
and Mayan wells as sound chambers.
