4 Places: Reykjavik, Glasgow, Amsterdam & London. Water color on paper "10.5 x 15" series of 18 paintings. Impressions of place, for myself other paint media's are too cumbersome and resist simplicity, water colors and block water color paper proved moble. Each evening at a hotel, without much setup, I was ready to paint after experiencing the places. These paintings are stream of consciousness hikos where picture manifests itself through the process. The holes where drilled into the paper block before leaving the US.
